Summer Zoomed Past!

Been away for awhile.  My summer vacation to  Indiana & Tennessee (& Georgia) was great!  Enjoyed some wonderful family time.  Visited with my daughter, Wendy, in Georgia and was able to see her new place nestled in the mountains of Georgia.

Fall is here with lots of exciting things happening.  First Baptst Church has completed our New Welcome Center.  Most of my family is now a year older with all of our birthdays happening in September.

We will be spending Thanksgiving in Tennessee and Georgia.  First year in quite some time spending it outside of Florida.

We are waiting expectantly on the arrival of Beth's twins in early December and of course everyone is preparing for Christmas to celebrate the birth of our Savior.

Summer 2011

Summer is zooming by but I am enjoying every minute of it.  I love hot weather.  Looking forward to my trip to Tennessee and Indiana in August.  Wendy, my daughter, is going with me so that it makes it even better.

Father's Day Weekend

My oldest stepdaughter came to visit with us for Father's Day.  She & Stella traveled to Crawfordville.  Tonight Beth, Stella, Jennifer, Jacob & Elliana, Henry & myself went to Victor's for dinner.  Food & family ~ lots of fun & fellowship.  Spending time with Elliana & Stella was priceless.

Sunday we are going to Wakulla Springs, one of my favorite Florida places, which happens to be only 5 minutes from my house.  Picnic & family!

VBS

It's VBS Week here at First Baptist Church in Tallahassee.  The kids are excited and having a great time.  The adults are already tired but still having a great time.  Lots of activity & excitement about Jesus!  I am thankful that I live in a country where we are free to worship our Lord!

Yard Sale...Family Funtime

Our neighborhood held a community wide yard sale today.  We made a bit of money and lots of fun with family members.  My family is very important to me and I love having them here with me.
